You know factors affecting sexual health in aging.
You know how to face people at the end of life and their loved ones.
You can support the patient at the end of the illness and the approaching death.
You know the patient's rights and know how to respect the choices of the patient and their loved ones.
You can think and analyze your thoughts about death.
You can plan, implement and develop palliative and terminal care for the elderly.
You know how to promote sexual health in aging.

What are the special features of palliative and terminal care?
What are the ethical and practical capabilities and the implementation of palliative care and hospice at home and in different service institutions?
How to encounter the death of an old person, and what is the process of grief?
How to support families?
What is the termination of a care relationship and coping of a caregiver?
What are concepts connected to sexual health, sexual rights and meaning of sexuality?
What is sexual diversity?
What factors affect sexual health in aging?

Hospice care for the elderly: face-to-face teaching and learning tasks
Nutrition for the elderly: special features of nutrition for the elderly. Evaluation of nutrition and implementation of health-promoting nutrition.

Assessment methods and criteria
Hospice care for the elderly: The subjects and criteria to be evaluated in the section are presented in the beginning of the study course info and in Learn. Successfully completed learning assignments
Aging's sexuality: The evaluated objects, methods and bases of the section are presented at the beginning of the section of the study course. Active participation in face-to-face teaching (seminars) and successful completion of the assignment. (Evaluation of this section pass-fail). Feedback is given as group feedback.
Nutrition of the elderly: Mission in Learn. The task must demonstrate familiarity with the nutrition of the elderly and the ability to evaluate and guide the implementation of nutrition.
