Assessment methods and criteria

Accepted completion of the course requires an approved written final report on the development work and participation in the introductory info and presentation seminars in accordance with the instructions.
When evaluating development work, attention is paid to the usefulness of the topic from the point of view of public health nursing. How well the topic has been studied and what kinds and how diversely the sources have been used. How the goals set in the development work were achieved, the systematic nature of the work, cooperation, resourcing, risk management, evaluation plan and the use of guidance. The output produced as a development work is evaluated e.g. appearance/content/implementation and utility/usability/importance to a practical partner. In addition, a partner evaluation should be requested for the output. The written final report assesses the layout, readability, comprehensibility and clarity, as well as the expression of expertise in public health nursing in the evaluation of the final report, conclusions and development/action proposals.
