Course material

The study material consists of resources available on the Learn learning platform and the Teams channel.

Study forms and methods

The course is mainly conducted as asynchronous online teaching, but it also includes 9 optional, time-bound workshops.

During the workshop meetings, students work on sections related to the learning task in groups. Groups are registered using the Learn group tool.

For the work, the course has its own Teams channel. The Learn learning platform and the dedicated Teams channel form a flexible combination for studying
and workshop-style work, regardless of time and place.

Only the final output of the work is assessed. Participation requires an internet connection as well as video and audio capabilities

RDI and work-related cooperation

The materials have been produced online in collaboration with RDI (Research, Development, and Innovation) experts and teaching staff. The materials prepare students for the basics of project planning and enhance their work-life skills

Timing of exams and assignments

The course includes asynchronous group study on two different platforms.
On the Teams channel, there are 9 two-hour workshops on various themes. The timing of the workshops is fixed in the groups’ calendars.

There is no exam for the course.

International cooperation

Possible international collaboration is planned separately for each implementation.

Student workload

1 ECTS credit corresponds to approximately 27 hours of student work.
However, the workload depends on the student’s study skills and prior knowledge.

For a 5 ECTS credit course, the student’s workload is approximately 135 hours.

In a group, it is possible to plan the distribution of the workload evenly over the entire duration of the course for each group member.
in other words, the planning of work resources is integrated into the course work.

Further information

Although the workshops are not mandatory and take place during the day, it is advisable for groups to plan their work from the beginning so that the benefits of the workshops
contribute to the common final output.

When agreeing on the use of resources, the group can plan how the tasks, participation, and reporting are distributed among the group members.
When registering for groups in Learn, you can use the discussion board to form groups of 4-5 people based on, for example, working hours/daily routines.
This way, it is easier for those in similar life situations to plan joint activities during the approximately 16 working weeks of the Autumn Term 2025.
