You are able to describe and understand the company's customer service concept.
You are able to define what factors contribute to good customer service.
You are able to define how customer service and sales should be carried out.
You are able to understand the sales process phases and to act appropriately in the different stages of the process.

How are customer service and sales work carried out?
What are the aspects of and stages in the sales process?

Other study materials are provided by the teacher in class or via the Learn platform.

Study forms and methods

• The course is carried out by way of contact teaching on Kotka campus according to a weekly schedule. Remote participation is not possible. As a rule, scheduled contact lessons are not recorded nor duplicated by online lectures.
• Students make progress by attending scheduled lessons and completing tasks and assignments individually or in groups.
• The teacher provides guidance during lessons.
• The assessed assignments are completed independently and in group.
• Feedback is provided by different methods, in writing and/or orally. Also, peer feedback can be used.

RDI and work-related cooperation

Guest lectures will be given by representatives from the world of work.

Timing of exams and assignments

An assignment must be completed according to the given instructions. An exam must be taken in the last scheduled lesson.

A project assignment must be completed in a small group by the end of the course.

Student workload

• In a 5-credit course students workload is approximately 135 hours including lessons, group work and independent study.

The student’s performance is assessed with reference to the learning objectives and assessment criteria of the course.
