- meet different types of clients and client groups and identify their needs in everyday life.
- form client-oriented professional interaction relationships.
- describe work orientations and work practices of social work in the community of your practical training place.
- tell how your values guide your work and describe values, attitudes and legislation prevailing in your practical training place.
- evaluate your work and your working methods in relation to the working community, the basic tasks of the organization and the ethical principles of the social sector.
- reflect your own skills and set your own development needs.

Opintojakson voi suorittaa myös osaamisen näytöllä, jos opiskelijalla on oppilaitosympäristössä hankitun työkokemuksen ja mahdollisesti lisäki aiemman koulutuksen kautta kertynyt opintojakson tavoitteita vastaavaa, EQF6 -tasoista osaamista..
