Practical training: Basics of emergency care (10 cr)

Objective

You understand the characteristic features of the emergency care service operating environment.

You are able to co-operate with the patient and work as a member of an emergency care team.

You understand the responsibilities and obligations of an emergency care expert and you will be able to apply them when providing emergency care.

You are able to assess, under supervision, the patient’s need for care and provide emergency care at the basic level.

You know how to document and report the actions taken.

Evaluation

Students can
-use professional vocabulary systematically.
-look for information in the key information sources of the field
-identify interrelated tasks
-work together with customers, users and target groups
-use the key models, methods, software and techniques of the professional field
-work as team members in a goal-oriented way
-justify their actions according to the ethical principles of the professional field

Vaade 1 v. työkokemus ensihoidosta yksikössä, joka ajaa hätäkeskuslaitoksen alaisia tehtäviä. Opiskelija osoittaa osaamisensa erillisellä kirjallisella tehtävällä

Hyväksytty / Hylätty ( täydennettävä)
Kenttäohjaajan väliarviointi (tarvittaessa) ja loppuarviointi yhdessä ohjaavan opettajan kanssa.
Arviointi suoritetaan Workseed sovellusta apuna käyttäen.

Assessment criteria, fail (0)

Intermediate (if necessary) and final evaluation of the field instructor together with the instructor and the student. Approved / Rejected.
Rejected may, in special situations, be a requirement to be supplemented (= accepted as conditional) by the student, the instructor and the tutor.
