Objective

Knowledge and understanding of and proficiency in:
- safe measurement techniques and analysis of results
- verification of compliance with requirements
- reporting and analysis of measurements

Content

- real estate and distribution network measurements
- commissioning inspections of electrical installations
- quality and control inspections during electrical work
- acceptance testing and commissioning inspections
- maintenance inspections
- hardware tests

Evaluation

Students can
- use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations
- choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices

In addition, competence evaluation according to STCW code table A-III/6 column 4 are used:
- safety measures for working are appropriate
- selection and use of hand tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment are appropriate and interpretation of results is accurate
