Objective

You are familiar with the main theories of well-being
You are familiar with the most common trends of welfare research.
You are able to look at welfare as a strategic base of social work and services
You are able to look at the everyday life of people of different ages from the point of you of welfare.
You know how to analyze the links between welfare, way of life and life span.
You know how to monitor and anticipate the regional, national and global development of welfare.

Content

What are the most common types of trends of welfare research?
How does the view of the welfare control social work and serices?
How do you think of welfare in everyday life?
How to analyze the life span and the way of life?
How to monitor and anticipate the development of welfare on different levels?

Evaluation

The student can
a. to acquire, process, produce and critically evaluate the cross-sectoral information about well being
b. to solve exacting problems in research, development and / or in innovation
c. to evaluate the view and the cosequences of the welfare among social work
d. to develop independently own skills of thinking
e. to evaluate strategic approaches and to justify their use from the management and development perspective
f. to work independently as an expert or as an entrepreneur in social services
g. communicate and interact in demanding international contexts of the social expertise

Study forms and methods

Work week-based learning pathway:
Learn, face-to-face teaching, independent knowledge acquisition, PBL.
An alternative implementation (Teams) is offered, with less obligation to attend F2F.

Work-integrated learning path:
The student has completed studies of a similar scope and content at a university.

RDI and work-related cooperation

Tasks can be applied to the development of one's own work.
