Objective

You understand the theoretical and practical starting points of the future work and foresight in your own professional field.
You know a variety of data sources, methods and purposes for future foresight.
You can collect future information using different participatory foresight methods and analyse, report and use it for the development of communities and organisations.

Why is future foresight important?
What is futures knowledge?
What is future work?
What are foresight methods and how are they used?
How can foresight methods be used to collect and compile information about the future?

Evaluation

Students can
a. use professional vocabulary and concepts systematically.
b. look for information in the key information sources of the field.
