Objective

Pathophysiology
You understand the mechanisms of diseases and related changes in the body.
You understand the physiology of pain, the sensitivity of different tissues to pain, and the experience of pain.

Diagnostic examinations and clinical exercises in internal medicine nursing
You know the key laboratory, X-ray and endoscopic examinations related to diagnosis.
You are able to guide patients in preparing for examinations.
You can interpret the results of laboratory tests and basic clinical nursing examinations and act as required by the situation.
You can plan, implement, assess and document the nursing of indoor and cancer patients.
You are able to carry out the medical treatment of the most common internal and cancer diseases in accordance with the given regulations.
You can consult specialists according to the ISBAR model.
You know how to implement self-care guidance.
You know how to perform CPR.

Pathophysiology
What are the mechanisms of diseases and related changes in the body?
What is the physiology of pain, pain sensitivity of different tissues, and experiencing pain?

Diagnostic examinations and clinical exercises in internal medicine nursing
How to guide and prepare patients for the most common diagnostic tests?
How to interpret the results of basic clinical nursing examinations and act as required?
How to plan, implement, assess and document internal medicine and oncology nursing?
How to implement pharmacotherapy for the most common internal medicine and oncological diseases?
How to implement patient-safe intravenous medication, fluid therapy and blood transfusion?
How to implement self-care guidance?
How to consult specialists according to the ISBAR model?
How to perform CPR?

Evaluation

Students can
a. use professional vocabulary and concepts systematically.
