Objective
The studentis able to act as an emergency nurse in the service system of emergency care in cooperation with other authorities following the agreed methods and plans
knows how to handle the tasks related to rescue center activities set to health careis able to make a risk assessment, to deal with the tasks and evaluate their urgencyknows the principles of alarming the emergency care service
understands the importance of the supervisor of emergency care/the shift for the functioning of the work community
masters the principals of working in pairs systematically and in different roles

Assessment methods and criteria
Kurssin arviointi toteutetaan ryhmäarviointina (osaamisen arvioinnit simuloiduissa oppimistilanteissa) sekä kirjallisena tenttinä
Arvioinnin kriteerit pohjautuvat Walter Tavaresin ym. tutkimukseen Global Rating Scale for the Assessment of Paramedic Clinical Competence 2012, jonka Suomessa ensihoidon koulutusohjelmien opettajaverkosto on modifioinut arviointikäyttöön.
