Objective

• You are familiar with and apply the ethical and legal knowledge and skills in clinical acute care expertise.
• You know the tasks, roles and importance of clinical acute care expertise in social and health care.
• You can critically assess and develop your expertise.
• You can develop and assess your actions as a clinical expert in a multiprofessional team.
• You know the special characteristics of acute care and can acknowledge them in nursing.

• How do you strengthen your knowledge in acute care and apply the knowledge in clinical expertise?
• What are the tasks and roles of clinical
acute care expert in social and health care?
• How so you critically assess and develop your expertise?
• How do you develop and assess your actions as a clinical expert in multiprofessional teams and networks?
• What are the special characteristics of acute care?
• How do you acknowledge the special characteristics of acute care in nursing?

Course material

The literature will be given at the first lesson.

Study forms and methods

Scheduled track:
Contact learning accordign to study schedule
Conducting group and individual assignements
The class room teaching includes information search and for that a lap top is needed

Student workload

The total work load is 135, divided in:
- Lectures 24 hours
- Presentation of group assignement 8 hours
- Individual working (written assignements) 107 hours
