Municipal solid waste management in circular economy (3 op)

Tavoitteet

The aim of this course is to familiarize students with the basic concepts and techniques of municipal waste management and to gain an understanding about how waste is to be managed in circular economy.

Industrial waste and waste liquids are excluded from the scope of this course.

Arviointi

The course is evaluated accepted/to be completed/failed and the course grade is marked after all sections have been fully completed.

Material provided on Xamk Learn learning environment.

Tenttien ja tehtävien ajoittuminen

Studies are carried out independently and at an individual pace using the theory material provided and researching the topic to complete the given assignments. The course is divided into three sections and each section has to be fully completed before the next one can be accessed.

Opiskelijan työmäärä

3 ECTS equals about 81 hours of student work. This consists of independent study of the materials provided, researching the topic independently and completing the given assignments.
