Objective
You know what life cycle assessment is and how to carry it out in practice. You are familiar with the terms LCI and LCIA. You know the key methodologies of assessing the environmental impacts of processes.
Content
How do you carry out an environmental life cycle impact assessment?
What types of computer programs exist for analyzing life cycle environmental impacts?
Why are LCIAs becoming more and more important and how are they used by companies?
What are the stages of LCA?

Students can
a. use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations.
b. evaluate information sources critically.
e. choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices.
g. apply critically the ethical principles of the professional field in different situations.
