Objective
You enhance your competence in project management and in research, development and innovation (RDI) management by carrying out a real-life project in the field of environmental health or protection, measurement or technology/management. The project can be completed individually or as a member of a group.
You learn the characteristics of environmental engineering projects and how to collaborate with project stakeholders.
You develop your ability to apply project management skills in the field of environmental engineering.
Content
What are the basics and characteristics of environmental engineering projects?
How are the aims and goals of the selected topic defined?
How to implement the different project phases and time management?
How to close projects, how to report about them and how to disseminate the final results? This involves e.g. a seminar presentation.
Evaluation
Students can
b. evaluate information sources critically.
c. work as responsible team members and identify and describe the problems of the professional field.
e. choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices.
f. show their own ability for goal orientation and promote teams’ goal-oriented operations.
