Objective

You are familiar with the criteria of the pathophysiology and pharmacology of the central and peripheral nervous system and rehabilitation mechanisms and their effects on neurological physiotherapy.
You can describe the effects of functional disorders and diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system and their effects on an individual’s movement and functional ability.
You can use appropriate functional measurements to evaluate the need for physiotherapy.
You can evaluate and make conclusions about the functions of central and peripheral nervous system and the most common functional disorders in clients of different age groups and the effects of the disorders on the individual’s ability to function and participate socially in her/his environment, based on clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis.
You can use and justify the main impacts of neurological physiotherapy taking the individual’s resources and the environmental challenges into account.
You are able to compare national and international practices in neurological physiotherapy.

How do you evaluate the customer’s functional capacity and participation and coping in her/his everyday life and changes in their mental resources?
How do you assess the need of the assistive devices and how do you control their use?
How do you use evidence-based methods of physiotherapy to support functional capacity?
