You are able to make use of wellbeing technological solutions and methods.

You are able to use a medical records system.

You are able to use a structured nursing documentation model.

You are able to handle, retrieve and update information from social and health information sources.

What kind of wellbeing technology solutions and aids are there for supporting both independent living and participation?

How to develop wellbeing technologies and services in a responsible and ethically acceptable way?

Information management in health and social care 2 ECTS credits

What kind of information management is there in client data systems and networks in social and health care?

What kind of essential legislation and instructions are there in client data documentation?

What are structured nursing documentation and the Finnish Care Classification system?

What is documentation in social care?

What is data protection and data security in information systems?

Evaluation

Assessment criteria level 3: entry-level know-how and skills
Students can
a. use professional vocabulary systematically.
b. look for information in the key information sources of the field.
c. identify interrelated tasks.
d. work together with customers, users and target groups.
e. use the key models, methods, software and techniques of the professional field.
f. work as team members in a goal-oriented way.
g. justify their actions according to the ethical principles of the professional field.

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Opintojakso koostuu lähitunneista ja verkko-opiskelusta sekä Hyvinvointiteknologian osuudessa myös vapaaehtoisesta vierailusta Active Life Labiin (Mikkeli):
- Sosiaalihuollon tiedonhallinta 1 op
- Terveydenhuollon tiedonhallinta 1 op
- Hyvinvointiteknologia 3 op sisältää ennakkotehtävän

Aiemman terveydenhuollon ammattitutkinnon suorittanut ja valmistumisen jälkeen työkokemusta omaava opiskelija voi hyödyntää työhön integroitua oppimisväylää OSAAMISEN ARVIOINNIN-prosessilla
Hyvinvointiteknologia:
Aiemman sosiaali- tai terveydenhuollon ammattitutkinnon suorittanut ja valmistumisen jälkeen työkokemusta omaava opiskelija voi hyödyntää työhön integroitua oppimisväylää OSAAMISEN ARVIOINNIN-prosessilla
Sosiaalihuollon tiedonhallinta:
Kirjaamisvalmentajakoulutukseen osallistuneet voivat hyödyntää työhön integroitua oppimisväylää

Työhön integroitu oppimisväylä:
Sosiaalihuollon tiedonhallinta koostuu itsenäisestä verkko-opiskelusta ja tehtävästä
Terveydenhuollon tiedonhallinta koostuu itsenäisestä verkko-opiskelusta ja tehtävästä
