Family and community nursing (10 cr)

Objective

You can meet families professionally and in accordance with the principles and methods of family nursing. You can care children and adolescents with different health problems and promote welfare. You can care health, sick and disabled child and adolescent in accordance with the principles of pediatric nursing. You can plan, implement and assess nursing in accordance with community nursing methods and cultural factors. You know the principles of homecare and you can care home care clients. You can support the family of the client and respect the values of the clients. You understand the meaning of different service units in the service structure. You know your responsibility in promoting patient safety. You can implement palliative and humancare of chronically ill patient. You can produce, deliver and exploit expertice and partnerships in many kinds of teams and networks.

RDI and work-related cooperation

Harjoittelun toteutus viikkojen 39-50 aikana
Osallistut ohjaajan työvuoroja mukailevan työjärjestyksen mukaisesti hoitotyön harjoitteluun harjoittelupaikoissa.
Lasten hoitotyön simulaatio kampuksella 1op. Simulaatiopäivään osallistuminen erillisen osallistumislistan mukaan.

Student workload

Harjoittelussa opiskelijan tuntimäärä on 38 h/viikko.
Lasten hoitotyön harjoittelun kahden viikon työmäärä 76h. Simulaatioharjoitus koululla n. 6h, opiskelijan työmäärä 27h.

Assessment methods and criteria

3. lukuvuoden AMK-opiskelijan kriteerit. Harjoittelun hyväksytty suoritus edellyttää tasoa H3.
Simulaatioharjoitus: Hyväksytty suoritus edellyttää aktiivista osallistumista simulaatiossa ja sitä seuraavassa reflektiossa.
Suoritus hylätty, jos opiskelija ei osallistu, ei ole mukana keskustelussa kantaa ottaen tai kieltäytyy toimimasta simulaatiotilanteessa. Sairaus- tai muusta pakottavasta poissaolosta tulee keskustella opettajan kanssa.
