Objective
You know the basics and connections that make up IoT.
You can build sensor/actuator systems using the Arduino microcontroller and create programs that provide IoT functionality to the Raspberry Pi single-board computer.
You can create an end-to-end IoT system connecting to a cloud service.
You are able to design an IoT system that can solve problems in manufacturing, healthcare or energy systems.
Content
What are the core technologies and connections of IoT?
How to use microcontrollers and computers for IoT projects.
How to link an IoT system to a larger server environment and cloud service?
How to design IoT systems for manufacturing, healthcare and energy systems?
Evaluation
Students can
a. use professional vocabulary systematically.
c. identify interrelated tasks.
e. use the key models, methods, software and techniques of the professional field.
