Objective

Students understand the main growth drivers in entrepreneurship. Students know how to look for and analyse the existing opportunities of growth in their area of professional occupation. Students are able to plan and execute growth strategies in domestic and foreign environments. Students can organise growth-oriented activities at their workplace.

Content

How can growth be defined in different forms of organisations? What are the basic growth drivers in different industries in Finland and internationally? What are the international growth strategies in entrepreneurship? How can the growth process be planned, organised and evaluated in the organisation?

Assessment criteria, good (3)

a. Students can use professional vocabulary systematically. b. Students can make appropriate choices out of the multiple sources of professional information concerning growth strategies and growth drivers. c. Students know how to resolve growth-oriented tasks individually and collectively in the area of their professional occupation. f. Students can act in a goal-oriented way in designing, executing and evaluating growth-oriented activities in the enterprise context.
