Objective

You are able to list and describe the rights and obligations of spouses.
You are able to describe the position of a child in family law.
You are able to explain the line of succession and draft a simple prenuptial agreement and division of inheritance document.
You are able to explain how inheritance is taxed.

Content

What rights and obligations do spouses have?
How is a child’s father, provision and sustenance determined?
How are assets divided when a cohabitation, marriage or registered partnership has ended?
What is the line of succession and how can you deviate from it?
How is inheritance tax determined?

Evaluation

Students can
