Objective
You are able to explain the basic ecological properties of Finnish forest ecosystems in mineral and peatland site types.You are able to describe the structure of vegetation based on the site type classification.
Content
What are the basic properties of Finnish forest andpeatland habitats? How are mineral and peatland site types classified based on vegetation and soil properties? What are the origins of the different soil types and what are their main soil properties in terms of forestry?

Opintoja nopeuttava oppimisväylä:
Kurssi koostuu luento- ja maasto-opetuksesta (kontakti, 6 krt) sekä itsenäisestä työskentelystä. Kontaktiopetuksen osuus on n. neljännes opiskelijan työmäärästä. Itsenäinen työskentely koostuu mm. oppimistehtävistä verkko-oppimisympäristössä.
