Objective
You showthat you are familiar with the concepts and methods of forest management plans. You are able to compileforestry plans and instruct forest owners to implement them. You are able to participate in a goal-oriented way in the work of your team.
Content
How to determine themain contents and concepts of forest management plans? How to compileforest management plans and how to instruct forest owners in the implementation? How to work in a goal-oriented way as a member of a team?

Osoitetaan luennoilla.
Study forms and methods
Työhön integroitu oppimisväylä:
Metsäsuunnittelun perusteet, menetelmät ja toteutus. Kontaktijaksot eri ohjelman mukaan. 3pv elokuussa ja 3 pv syyskuussa.
Elokuun lähijaksolla perusteet ja valmennus, syyskuussa maastotyöt ja lopuksi laskelmat, koostaminen ja metsäsuunnittelun teoriaopinnot.

a) You are able to use consistently the concepts and methods of forest management planning. e) You are able to use the main models,procedures, computer programs and techniques of your profession when compiling forest management plans and instructing forest owners to implement them. f) You are able to participate in a goal-oriented way in the work of your team.

Qualifications
Attending the course requires completing the courses of Forest measurement, Mathematicsfor forestry, Forest management, Multi-objective silviculture and Pre-harvest planning as well as participating in the course of Forest inventory.
