Objective
The student will improve her/his competence in professional English communication in her/his field. S/he will have a better command of field-related terminology and practise English communication in expert tasks. After completing the course, the student is able to describe and discuss matters relating to maritime safety, chart plotting and navigation, as well as loading and discharging. Also, the student will be able to analyse the features of technical reporting and write an abstract for her/his thesis.

Participation in this course requires that the student has completed the courses Maritime English 1 and Maritime English 2, or is simultaneously completing them.
