Objective
You learn fashion and style theories. You deepen your target group and customer-oriented thinking. You can design and produce experiences for users.1 ECTS creditYou study the different trends, styles, lifestyle, and the cultural messages of products.You produce a service applying and shaping existing products considering the needs of the target group. - You learn fashion and style theories.2 ECTS credits You understand the importance of brand-building and opportunities in a variety of contexts: the production of experience and events, concrete products, such as clothing collections and costumes.You learn the criteria of visual marketing and design the visual image and marketing material.You learn target group thinking and customer-oriented approach in product / service marketing. 2 ECTS creditsYou learn to design and produce experiences.
Content
How the theories of style and fashion (Simmel, Bourdieu, Schulze) help you analyse different kind of experience worlds of consumers?How to adapt your vision to the style and values of the client?How to apply the international trend-information to your design, become familiar with the fair functions and exploit the information of the agencies, which supply the materials?How to observe and collect data related to the changing phenomenon of fashion and interior design?How to analyse your selected topic from the viewpoints of different theories?How to carry out an exercise in which you define the client or target group and create a product or service, which serves his/her values, hopes and needs? The client / presentative of the target group takes part in the design process from the beginning.

Tuotos, kirjallinen kuvaus ja siihen liittyvä itsearviointi puuttuvat.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
Tyydyttävän (2-1) arvosanan saa tehtävän suorittamisesta, missä tulee olla tuotos, kirjallinen kuvaus ja siihen liittyvä itsearviointi.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
Hyvän (3-4) arvosana saa ahkeralla työskentelyllä tuotteen ja asiakkaan parissa. Kirjallinen tuotos yltää kuvailun tasolle, missä lähteitä käytetään kaavamaisesti.

Kiitettävä (5) arvosana edellyttää
• kohderyhmän tyyliin sopivan, toimivan ja jotain uutta sisältävän ehdotuksen tekemistä valitulle asiakkaalle.
• perustelevan kirjallisen tuotoksen lähteisiin viitaten.
• tulkitsevaa ja analyyttistä lähteiden käyttöä.
