Objective

You show your familiarity with the regulations concerning serving of alcoholic beverages by carrying out the appropriate exam. You show your familiarity with different types of beverages (wine, beer, cider, alcohol and drinks), their history, production processes and sensory evaluation methods and you know the main products and producers on the market. You can serve beverages in accordance with the legislation about serving alcohol beverages with respect to each product group. You can choose, sell, serve and recommend beverages for different occasions and meals.

How do you purchase and serve beverages professionally and according to the Finnish alcohol legislation? How do you choose the selection of beverages according to the business idea? How are wine, beer and distilled drinks produced? How do you choose, evaluate, sell and serve different beverage types (wine, beer, cider, alcohol and drinks)? How do you combine beverages with food and use them in different situations? How do nearby-produced, Fair trade or organic beverages differ from ordinary products?
