Objective
You show familiarity with the principles of human resource management in service enterprises. You recognize the role of human resources and human resource management in relative to the operation and development of organizations. You show familiarity with the laws regulating human resource management, employment and cooperation and with the labour market system. You can anticipate and promote the competences of the personnel. You understand the principles of life cycle management and the meaning of well-being at work.
Content
Which are the different sectors of human resource management? What are labour market system and labour legislation? What is the managerial responsibility in abiding by the laws? How do you recognize and promote the competences of the personnel? How does life cycle thinking show in organizations? How do you manage well-being at work?

Study forms and methods
Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Opintojaksolla tullaan perehtymään henkilöstöhallinnon ja työlainsäädännön kokonaisuuteen teorian kautta sekä käytännön esimerkkejä hyödyntäen. Opintojakson suorittamiseen lähiopetuksessa vaaditaan läsnäoloa 80%.
Opintojakson aikana tullaan tekemään oppimistehtäviä ja tentti, joka tehdään lähituntien aikana.
Moodlessa on opintojaksoon liittyvä materiaali ja kerrottu myös muu suositeltu materiaali.

Työhön integroitu oppimisväylä:
Opintojakso on mahdollista suorittaa opiskelemalla itsenäisesti verkossa ja tekemällä oppimistehtävät ja tentti. Opintojakson materiaalina Moodlessa esitetty materiaali ja muu kirjallisuus.
Student workload
Opiskelijan työmäärä on yhteensä 135 tuntia, joista lähiopetusta on n. 40 tuntia. Loppu työmäärä tulee oppimistehtävien teosta ja tenttiin valmistautumisesta.
