Objective
After you have completed the course you
* know how to advance visual techniques for documentation of conservation/restoration work
* know how to produce images with a modern digital camera
* how to take studio and object photographs * know the basic steps in digital image processing
Content
- What are physics of digital images and the basics of digital image editing?
- What means vector vs. bitmap images, image formats, image size, image resolution and file size?
- How are made digital Image editing: color correction, knocking out backgrounds, highlighting selected areas and correct resampling of images for the purpose?
- What are the basics of digital layout and publishing?
- How are PDF format made?
- How is camera used in a variety of subjects in various conditions?
- How should photo files be handled?
