Objective

Client-orientation
• you are able to evaluate the clients’ resources and support them in the planning, implementation and assessment of their care
• you know the importance of cultural backgrounds in nursing and you are able to encounter clients from various cultures
• you understand the special features of the Russian culture
• you are familiar with the Russian models of operation in your line of work

Ethics and professionality in nursing
• you are able to produce, share and utilize expert competence in multidisciplinary teams, networks and partnerships

Clinical nursing
• you are able to use various methods in the psychosocial support of a patient
• you are able to administer and evaluate safe pharmacological treatment in the care of different diseases

Evidence-based practice and decision making
• you are able to evaluate the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and assess nursing interventions according to the decision making process
• you are able to actively utilize research knowledge (recommendations, reports based on research evidence) in nursing decision making relating community and homecare nursing

Patient education competence
• you are able to manage patient education as part of the nurse’s work in community and homecare nursing

Promotion of health and functional ability
• you are able to plan, execute and evaluate interventions promoting health and functional ability on an individual, group and communal level utilizing multidisciplinary and multi-professional networks

Course material

Monikulttuurinen hoitotyö (1 op) Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä: Monikulttuurinen hoitotyö blogi, opintoja nopeuttava oppimisväylä SKHOLE ja Moodle oppimisympäristöt.

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Rokotusosaamisen perusteet (2 op) suoritetaan verkkokurssina. Ennen verkkokurssin alkamista pidetään infotunti, jolle on läsnäolovelvoite.
Monikulttuurinen hoitotyö (1op), kokemuksellinen oppiminen luokkatilassa, edellyttää läsnäoloä.

Opintoja nopeuttava oppimisväylä:
Monikulttuurinen (1op) hoitotyö projektiopintoina eri etnisten ryhmien parissa. Edellyttää opiskelijan aktiivisuutta projektin / harjoittelupaikan hankinnassa.

Työhön integroitu oppimisväylä:
Monikulttuurinen hoitototyö (1 op) virtuaaliopinnot

Timing of exams and assignments

Rokotusosaamisen perusteiden (2op) verkkotentin voi uusia kaksi kertaa valitsemanaan aikana.
Monikulttuurinen hoitotyö opintoja nopeuttava oppimisväylä SKHOLE kokeen voi uusia kaksi kertaa yleisinä koepäivinä.

Rokotusosaamisen perusteiden (2op) verkkokurssi on hyväksytty/hylätty
Monikulttuurinen hoitotyö (1op) Työviikkopohjainen oppimivsväylä luento-opetus, läsnäolo ja oppimispäiväkirjan pohjalta tehtävä miellekartta. Hyväksytty - Täydennettävä.
Tutkintoa täydentävä oppimisväylä virtuaalitoteutus, Moodle tehtävien hyväksytty suorittaminen. Hyväksytty – Täydennettävä, SKHOLE tentti
