Objective

You become familiar with and can describe concepts related to research-oriented development, processes and approaches.
You can search, analyse and apply relevant research data.
You know different research and development methods and can apply them in research-oriented development in your field.
You know and can apply principles of research ethics and reliability.

Content

What is the process of research-oriented development and what are the approaches behind it?
How do you search information systematically and evaluate the reliability and usefulness of research and development data?
How do you prepare a literature review?
What relevant research-oriented approaches can you apply in social and health care?
What qualitative, quantitative and agile development methods can you use in data collection and analysis in research-oriented development? 
What are the ethical principles and how to take them into account in research-oriented development?
How do you ensure reliability in research-oriented development?

Evaluation

Students can 
find, study, produce and evaluate critically multidisciplinary data in their field of expertise.
solve demanding problems in research, development and innovation.
evaluate and manage independently operations involving individuals and teams.
be responsible for operations in research-oriented  development and develop them independently.
evaluate different research-oriented approaches and justify their use in terms of management and development.
work independently in the expert duties of research-oriented development.
communicate proficiently and systematically in their spoken and written native language and in one foreign language.

Learn-alustalla tarjolla, mutta tehtävät edellyttävät myös itsenäistä tiedonhakua.

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Osallistut työjärjestyksen mukaisesti lähiopiskeluun, joka pääsääntöisesti on toiminnallista ja opiskelijoiden aktiiviseen osallistumiseen perustuvaa. Opiskelusi rytmittyvät työjärjestyksen mukaisten ryhmätapaamisten ja itsenäisesti ja/tai pienryhmissä tehtävien oppimistehtävien mukaan.

Lähiopetus: 4h/opintopiste.

Opintoja nopeuttava oppimisväylä:
Kaikki yamk-opinnot integroidaan työelämän yhteyksiin oppimistehtävillä, jolloin tietoperusta ja käytännön kokemus tukevat toisiaan.

Työhön integroitu oppimisväylä:
Voit nopeuttaa opintojasi tekemällä opintojaksoon sisältyvät itsenäiset tehtävät oman aikataulusi mukaan.
