You know the main principles of quality management and the meaning of quality work in social services.

How are social services funded?
What are different production ways of social services?
What are the main legislative basis, strategies and principles guiding the social service production?
What are the main current structural reforms in social services and the aims of those reforms?
What is meant by quality management and quality work in the leadership and development of social services?
What is meant by effectiveness and cost-effectiveness and why this information is needed when developing social services?

Evaluation

a. Use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations.
b. Evaluate information sources critically.
e. Choose appropriate models and methods according to the purpose and justify these choices.

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Kontaktiopetus, valmistelevat tehtävät ja reflektio 3 op
Laatu ja omavalvonta -tehtävä 2 op
Sitoutumista kontaktiopetukseen edellytetään, jos valitset tämän väylän. Osa kontakteista voi olla myös verkossa.

Opintoja nopeuttava oppimisväylä:
Opintojakson voi suorittaa aikaisemman toteutuksen yhteydessä.

Työhön integroitu oppimisväylä / vaihtoehtoinen suoritustapa niille, jotka eivät voi osallistua sitoutuneesti työviikkopohjaiseen väylään tai muuten itsenäinen suoritustapa sopii opintoihin. Osa tehtävistä on tehtävissä työhön integroidusti opiskelijan esittämän suunnitelman pohjalta.

Laatu- ja omavalvonta -tehtävä 2,5 op
Asiakasmaksu -tehtävä 1 op

Opintojaksosta järjestetään info opintojakson alussa lukujärjestyksen mukaisesti.

RDI and work-related cooperation

Laatu ja omavalvonta -oppimistehtävä toteutetaan työelämälähtöisesti joko omassa työssä tai muuten sosiaalialan työhön kytkettynä.

Assessment methods and criteria

Arviointi asteikolla 0-5. Työviikkopohjaisessa opintojakson arvosana määrittyy oppimistehtävien perusteella ja aktiivisesta osallistumisesta lähiopetukseen sekä lähiopetusta valmistelevien tehtävien tekemisestä. Arvosana määrittyy oppimistehtävien arvosanojen keskiarvosta. Vaihtoehtoisessa/ työhön integroidussa suoritustavassa arvosana määrittyy oppimistehtävien arvosanojen keskiarvon perusteella.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

a. Osaat käyttää asiantuntevasti ammattikäsitteitä eri tilanteissa.
b. Osaat arvioida käyttämiään tietolähteitä kriittisesti.
e. Osaat valita tarkoituksenmukaiset mallit ja menetelmät ja perustella nämä valinnat.
