You know the basics of qualitative and quantitative methods.
You understand the connection between theory and practical development work in your study field.
You are able to validate the methodological choices of your thesis work.
You are able to assess ethical questions and the validity of a research.

Content

What is qualitative and quantitative research and how to collect and analyse research data?
How theoretical knowledge is connected with the practical development in your own study field?
How to assess main ethical and validity questions concerning research and development work?

Evaluation

a. Use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations.
b. Evaluate information sources critically.
c. Identify and describe the problems and needs of the professional field.
e. Choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices.
g. Justify your actions according to the ethical principles of the professional field.
