Objective

After this course, you have skills:

to understand how nature environments and nature-based methods can promote rehabilitation of different client groups.

to estimate client’s need for support.

to know how different nature environments can meet the needs of clients.

to understand the specialty of counselling work in nature-assisted rehabilitation.

to understand the importance of creativity, self-expression and playfulness in rehabilitation.

Evaluation

a. Use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations.
b. Evaluate information sources critically.
d. Evaluate operations in customer, user and target group situations.
e. Choose appropriate models and methods according to the purpose and justify these choices.
g. Apply critically the ethical principles of the professional field in different situations.

Opetus toteutetaan kokonaan verkossa Learn-oppimisympäristössä.

Student workload

Opiskelijan työmäärä on 5 op eli 135 h työtä.
Työmäärä jakautuu seuraavasti:
Toimintaympäristö -tehtävät 2,5 op
Toimintakyky ja kuntoutussuunnitelma -tehtävä 2,5 op

Assessment methods and criteria

Oppimistehtävät arvioidaan asteikolla 0-5.
Opintojakson kokonaisarvosana määräytyy oppimistehtävien arvosanojen keskiarvon perusteella.
