Objective

You can communicate interactively and effectively in the working life situations. You can produce clear and understandable technical texts and documents. You can manage well oral situations in the working life. You can give an illustrative oral presentation concerning the working life. You can evaluate and give feedback on both your own presentations and others. You can improve your presentation skills.

Content

What is effective working life communication like? What is a good and illustrative oral presentation like and how to create it? What is feedback and how to give or receive it? How do you communicate effectively in groups and in working life? How to communicate in negotiations and meetings? How do you produce technical and scientifical documents? What are they like? What kind of texts and documents do you produce in technical field?

Study forms and methods

Scheduled track:
Students attend instruction and counselling according to the timetable. Studies follow the timetable of contact classes and assignments that are completed independently.

Blended track:
Completing studies quicker takes place by choosing independent methods of study. These can include, for example, online courses or courses from other student groups’ timetables. Completing assignments through this track involves more independent work and learning compared to the scheduled track.

Assessment criteria, good (3)
