Objective

You will familiarise yourself with the role of accounting in the strategic process of a company.
You will be able to make use of financial data in the management, planning, monitoring and reporting of a company’s finances.
You will comprehend the basics of taxation in the financial planning of a company.

What is the role of accounting in the strategic process of a company?
How can financial data be utilised in the financial management of a company?
Which taxational factors are to be considered in the financial planning of a company?

Evaluation

a. You are able to find, study, produce and evaluate critically multidisciplinary data in their field of expertise.
b. You are able to solve demanding problems in research, development and innovation.
e. You are able to evaluate different strategic approaches and justify their use in terms of management and development.
