Objective

1. You can use logically building technology terms.
2. You know the basics of building physics
3. You know the basics from building and the demands set by HVAC-systems
4. You have general know-how about HVAC-system installation methods
5. You can install simple HVAC-systems
6. You know the basics of insulation and pipe support system
7. You know the basics of fire safety in buildings

Content

What are the main describing methods of building and installing?
How do the HVAC-systems and building technology affect each other and indoor climate?
How does the National Building Code influence planning and constructing buildings and technical systems?
What factors affect the moisture behaviour in buildings?
What kind of insulation materials (include pipes) are used in building and what do you have to consider in pipe support system.
What do you have to take into account about fire safety in buildings.

Students can
