Objective
You get familiar with the most typical qualitative and quantitative research methods used in technical field. You will learn how to use different kind of research and development methods in the bachelor’s thesis and in development and research work.
You can write a research report that includes introduction, aims, literature review, methods, analysis of the data and conclusions.
Content
What kind of literature sources are available? How to use the electrical data bases? How are the literature sources shown in the report?
What kind of quantitative research methods are available and how can they be utilized in the field of study?
How do I plan, write and present a research report?
What kind of tools and methods are available to analyze numerical data and how will the reliability of data be assured?

Marin tutkimusraportoinnin osuus:
Opiskelu työjärjestyksen mukaisesti ja opettajan määrittelemin tehtävin. Opiskelu onnistuu myös hybridinä.
Annan osuus:
Opintojakson tehtävät liittyvät opinnäytetyön aloittamiseen. Tämän takia opinnäytetyön aihe olisi hyvä olla tiedossa ennen opintojakson tehtävien tekemistä. Tehtävät suoritetaan itsenäisesti Learnissä olevan ohjeet mukaisesti.
