Design project (5 cr)

Objective

• you study the planning of spectacle frames, materials and manufacturing
• you become acquainted with trends and phenomena which affect planning
• you become acquainted with the anatomy of the face of the human being and with the different frame types

Content

• you design and make the spectacle frames or sunglasses from idea sketches to ready frame
• you can do frames or sun glasses to yourself to your friend or to the customer
• for the study module costs will be included because the making of frames or sunglasses includes the material and manufacture costs

Evaluation

Students can
b: look for information in the key information sources of the field
c identify interrelated tasks
e: use the key models, methods, software and techniques of the professional field.
