Objective

You know the basics of child psychiatry.
You are aware of the challenges on mental health that families with children may experience.
You are able to identify children's behavioral disorders and know how they can be treated.
You know how to create a relationship of mutual cooperation and respect with a family are able to communicate with children as family members.
You are able to apply different functional methods when communicating with children.

What impact do attachment and early interaction have on the development of a child's mental health?
What is attachment trauma?
What are the most typical challenges on mental health that families with children may encounter?
How can you identify children's behavioral disorder and help the child and their family?
How do create an atmosphere of cooperation with a family?
What functional methods can be used to support children's mental health?

Evaluation

Individual and group assignments, active participation in group tasks.
Unsupervised examination.

Hylätty: opiskelija ei ole osallistunut keskusteluun. Opiskelija ei ole tuottanut yksilötyötä ryhmän käyttöön. Opiskelija ei ole osallistunut ryhmäesseen kirjoittamisprosessiin. Ryhmäessee ei vastaa tehtäväksiantoa. Raportointiohjeita ei ole noudatettu.

Further information

Koulutus toteutetaan kokonaisuudessaan verkko-opintoina. Opintojaksossa on yksi laajempi yksilötyö, muuten jakso toteutetaan pääasiassa pienryhmissä. Osallistuminen edellyttää sitoutumista ryhmätyöskentelyyn.
