Objective

You are able to justify the importance of culture for the wellbeing of individuals. You are able to describe the role of individuals in constructing the meaning of their own culture. You are able to use versatile creative and cultural methods to support education.

Content

How can art education promote the wellbeing of individuals and societies? How can you explore your identity through culture? How can community educators encourage individuals’ self-expression? How can community educators make use of different kinds of creative and cultural methods?

Evaluation

a) You are able to use terminology related to cultural education systematically.
c) You are able to identify the interrelated tasks of cultural education in the working field of a community educator.
e) You are able to use cultural education methods.
