Objective

You can demonstrate your familiarity with the history and theory of social pedagogy. You can describe social pedagogy as a practice with a specific function in society. You can reflect the aims and target groups of different kinds of projects through social pedagogical concepts and points of view.

What are the origins of social pedagogy? What is the function of social pedagogy in society? What kind of target groups and aims does social pedagogy have?

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Itsenäisesti ja ryhmässä tapahtuvaa työskentelyä, luento, oppimistehtävien tekeminen, tenttiin lukeminen ja muu lukeminen, yhteistoiminnallinen oppiminen

Opintoja nopeuttava oppimisväylä:
Itsenäinen oppimistehtävä. Tehtävän saa vastuuopettajalta.

Työhön integroitu oppimisväylä:
Sovittava erikseen vastuuopettajan kanssa.

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä: 48 h lähiopetusta + 87 h itsenäistä työskentelyä
Opintoja nopeuttava oppimisväylä: 135 h itsenäistä työskentelyä

a. You can use the concepts of social pedagogy systematically. b. You can find information in the key sources of social pedagogy. c. You can identify the overall practices of social pedagogy in the context of youth work.
