You are able to plan a research-based development and bachelor’s thesis process for the needs of the working world and draw up a research plan accordingly You are able to define the topic and objective of a development task and bachelor’s thesis You are able to choose the appropriate research method for a development task and bachelor’s thesis You are able to choose appropriate methods of data retrieval for a development task and bachelor’s thesis You are able to present results and write a report

Content

What are the stages of a development and bachelor’s thesis process and how to draw up a research plan? What are the essential quantitative, qualitative and practice-based research methods? How to choose the appropriate research approach? What ethical rules need to be taken into consideration? How to report and present results?

You know how to
b. evaluate information sources critically
c. work as a team member in expert duties and identify and describe the problems of the professional field
e. choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices
g. apply critically the ethical principles of the professional field
