Study material is presented on the course platform in Learn.

Yksilölliset oppimisväylät

The course involves face-to-face meetings, 3 hours per week. Classes are organised in accordance with the group schedule on Kouvola campus. Participation in classes is compulsory. There will be no additional assignments given to compensate missed classes. The course contains online exercises, class discussions, and independent assignments. Professional presentations take place in week 17. Different forms of feedback will be offered, including peer feedback possibilities.

The course offers exercises on subject-specific vocabulary and professional communication of the field. The course material has a big focus on development of academic writing skills for the purpose of future research assignments.

The exam takes place in week 18. The exam is held on campus. The exam questions can be found on the course platform on the day of implementation.

Students attend instruction according to the timetable. Studies follow the timetable of contact classes and assignments that are completed independently. This course is implemented with contact sessions arranged on the Kouvola campus.

Completing studies quicker takes place by choosing independent methods of study. These can include, for example, online courses or courses from other student groups’ timetables. Completing assignments through this track involves more independent work and learning compared to the scheduled track.
