-Students who meet the prerequisites are added to the learn platform and they are instructed via Peppi from the start of the course.
-You are allowed to study independently.
-Notice that the learn exams must be done before the clinical practice week at school.
-Theory lessons (teams or live) are not mandatory
-Clinical skills practices and evaluation are mandatory
-The format of the exam is dialogue exam or exam-essey.

TKI ja työelämäyhteistyö

1) An alumni working in the operating room during the study period is available via the Padlet message wall and chat.
2) A familiarization visit to working life (operating room) is carried out (if the corona restrictions are ongoing, the implementation is virtual-live)
3) Case and skill exercises brought from working life strongly support the understanding and application of theory in practice.
4) Clinical practice 1 continues with the guidance of alumni and other professionals after completing this theory.

Tentit ja muut määräajat

1) All practice exams (learn) must be done before training week. If you haven`t done those exams you are not allowed to participate.
2) If there is surgeon's lecture, it will be mandatory. If you are unable to participate you will have to write an essey.
3) Theory evaluation is Dialogue or exam essy-test (0-5), after training week
4) Competence assessment: fail-pass, after the training week
Retest: Theory, exam essee, Clinical skills, individual clinical skills evaluation

-H2 pain treatment + simulations, clinical skills + case work
-H3 Surgical patient treatment path -case
-H4 Complication simulations, medical resuscitation

GENERAL EVALUATION CRITERIA
5 = almost complete answer, justification and understanding of context appear in the answer, good additions to colleagues' answers
4 = a little to be completed in the answer, the answer has tried to tie things together and find cause-effect relationships, additions to the colleague's answers
3 = answer core issues, little reasoning, no factual errors, little complementary answers
2 = illogical answer with few correct things, little justification, no life-threatening factual errors, few additions
1 = individual real issues for which no justification, answer one-sided, few additions, if any
0 = just some right things or participating in a conversation with little or no information
Retest: Retest in the exam as an essay exam. The 1st renewal can be done immediately, the 2nd renewal no earlier than 1 month after the previous assessment.
