The course is mainly completed by participating in teaching according to the schedule, whereby studies progress according to the group's schedule and at the pace of independent exercises. The theory of the topic is discussed and exercises are done together during face-to-face teaching hours. The student also has the opportunity to complete the course at an accelerated pace by studying independently and doing tasks at their own pace. The course can also be studied independently, for example, alongside work. It is advisable to discuss independent study with the responsible teacher at the start of the course. The course includes group activities.

The exercises carried out in the course are based on practical solutions in working life.

During the course, scored exercises will be carried out at the end of each topic. All required tasks must be completed by the deadline set in the course schedule. Resits are arranged with the responsible teacher.

Achieving the learning outcomes requires 135 hours of work of which about third are contact lessons and guided exercises and the rest are self study, practice exams and remote exercises

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Osallistut työjärjestyksen mukaiseen opetukseen ja ohjaukseen. Opiskelusi rytmittyvät työjärjestyksen mukaisten ryhmätapaamisten ja itsenäisesti tehtävien oppimistehtävien mukaan. Virtuaaliosuus on Teams ja Learn-järjestelmissä. Kaikki opettajan tabletille tekemät laskentaesimerkit tulevat opiskelijoiden Learn alustalle.
Työelämäpohjainen opintoväylä:
Jos työskentelet alan yrityksessä, organisaatiossa tai korkeakoulun tarjoamassa projektissa, voit suorittaa opintojakson tai moduulin työpaikallasi/projektissa joko kokonaan tai osittain. Tällöin olet yhteydessä opintojakson alussa opintojakson opettajaan ja sovit työpaikallesi/projektille tehtävästä kehittämistehtävästä. Oppiminen edellyttää, että työssäsi perehdyt opintojaksolla käsiteltäviin teemoihin ja hallitset ne sekä teoriassa että käytännössä. Osoitat osaamisesi osaamisen näyttönä, jonka laajuus määräytyy opintojakson oppimistavoitteiden mukaan.
Työelämän opinnollistaminen osaamisen osittamisen ohjeen mukaisesti. Edellytyksenä työnantajan kanssa laadittava kehittämistehtävä. Vaihtoehtoisen suoritustavan edellytyksenä ovat kyky työskennellä itsenäisesti ja tulostavoitteellisesti, laatia raportti tai muu osaamisen osoittamisen tuotos, jossa esille tulee kyky käsitellä aihetta kriittisesti ja anatlyyttisesti sekä tehdä monipuolisia päätelmiä useista eri näkökohdista. Osaamisen osoittamisen ohjeen saa opintojakson vastuuopettajalta.
