Objective

You understand the concept of the rate of change, are able to form the derivative function and use it for calculating the rate of change and defining the critical points of a function. You are able to model critical value problems in mathematical form and solve those with derivative function.

You are able to use the basic concepts of numerical methods.

You are familiar to basic concepts of electromagnetic waves and you are able to form and solve some quantity equations of electromagnetic waves.

You can solve logarithmic equations and use those in solving the physical problems.

You are able to use the concepts of electrical power engineering.

Content

How to form a simple derivative and integral functions and how to define the critical values of a function? When the function is increasing or decreasing? How to use differential calculus in the optimization?

How to form and calculate algorithms of numerical methods?

How to define and solve the equations of electromagnetic waves? How to model light in different situations?

How to solve logarithmic equations and use those solve voice acoustics equations? How to do the decibel calculation?

How to calculate DC and AC circuits? How to use complex numbers in the calculaton of AC circuits?
