- safe maintenance and repair procedures onboard
- preparing for and operations during periodical dockings as well as all the responsibilities involved in maintenance in co-operation with the technical department of shipping company
- shipyard procedures and ships survey in general

Degree of Deck Officer, operational level (STCW A-II/1) OR Degree of Engineer Officer, operational level (STCW A-III/1) OR Certificate of Competency: Deck Officer / Engineer Officer IS REQUIRED.

Blended track:
Discussion with the teacher and, where appropriate, PSP-planning with your own mentor teacher.
