Objective
You know the basic working methods used among service users: how to create confidential interaction relationship with a customer. You know how to plan, implement and assess client processes. You know how to assess a client’s life situation, resources and needs. You are familiar with the basics of case management. You have skills enabling supporting and counselling of clients in their daily activities. You become familiar with the principles of health promotion in client work. You work according to professional principles, values and rules in the field of social services. You identify the main challenges and inconsistencies of social service work.
Content
What are client work’s main values, principles, norms and rules? How do you create a confidential and professional relationship with a client? What is meant by care and support in social service work? What is the role of counselling when supporting client’s ability to function? What is the aim of a client plan and how do you draw up the plan? How do you document customer information?
