Objective
Maternity and women’s health nursing
You know the structure and process of the maternity care service coordination system.
You understand the normal course and follow-up care of pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium, as well as the possible disorders involved.
You know how to support families in growth into parenthood, and in newborn care.
You know the most common gynecological diseases and their risk factors.
You are able to assess the need for care of a patient with a gynecological disease and to plan, implement and evaluate the nursing work via the use of evidence-based data.
Sexual and reproductive health
You understand the basic concepts of sexuality and gender.
You understand the importance of sexual wellness as part of a person's overall well-being at different ages and in different life situations.
Nursing for children and youth
You understand the normal growth and development of a child and adolescent.
You are able to apply evidence-based data in the care of children and adolescents.
You are able to apply your knowledge of the most common diseases of children and adolescents in nursing.
