Objective

You are familiar with the basic principles of interface design, usability, accessibility and user experience.
You can conduct usability tests, and provide recommendations for required changes.
You understand the basic psychology behind usability, such as human perception and memory.
You are able to follow user-centered design process and the associated methods.
You are able to document your design process and solutions and able to use documentation actively to guide design decisions.
You know the most common interface design patterns and elements used in games and you are able to apply them in your designs.

Content

How do you apply visual and interaction design principles to create intuitive interfaces for a defined target audience?
How do user interface patterns differ between game genres and platforms, and how do you tailor designs accordingly?
What are the key considerations for making game interfaces accessible to users with varying needs, abilities, and preferences?

How does understanding human psychology and player behaviour contribute to designing game interfaces?

How do you use user-centered design methods, such as user personas and use cases, to guide interface design decisions?
What methods can you use to gather feedback and iterate on interface concepts in different stages of development?
How do you plan usability tests, analyse the test results, and report on the required changes?

How do you document user interface design decisions that support collaboration throughout the design process?
